Yeah. I feel ya. Jerks have ruined or nearly ruined shows for me. Like the stupid people who got in a fist fight at A RAY DAVIES ACOUSTIC SHOW. Or the tall fratboys who plowed through the crowd at Chromeo this past weekend and completely blocked our view until about 20 of us stared them down.

When I was telling my dad all this the other day, he told me that Chastain Park has been that way since the mid-70's, when it got to be "cool" among rich people to go see shows there. So now all the wannabe-upper-crusters buy season tickets they can't afford and drive their BMWs they can barely make payments on and bring their $500 picnic baskets they got as a wedding present full of gourmet food they don't actually like but it makes them feel fancy so they eat it anyway. It's such a joke. For the most part I had a better time getting my teeth drilled yesterday, if you take away the actual concert part of it.
