Point is, I always have fun doing sites and have been itching for another.  It occurred to me the other day that there really aren’t (please tell me if there are!) any Remus/Sirius sites out there.  And by that I mean sites that are devoted to R/S fanfics, but aren’t straight up blogs or fanlistings.  If there are some I missed, just

I'd be intrigued. One thing I've always lamented about HP fandom is how if you're in the LJ part of it, that's pretty much ALL you do. And, y'know, LJ's great, but I've always felt like something was missing. I think there's less chatter -- we talk on our flists, but unless you're someone's friend, it's very easy to miss. And comms tend to be pretty strict on content. A forum with an R/S base allows for people who want to stick to fic and art and meta to have their fun, while also allowing people who want to chat more freely and openly about everyday things, to get really in-depth with talking about other aspects of HP fandom, blah blah blah

i thought you wanted to build a "fic archive" type of site? i hear there used to be r/s-centric archives, but that most of them have died down. or build a fic archive *with* a forum included, but separate? i wouldn't join a fic forum, tbh. but that's just me. i was never much into those and having to look through a bunch of forums and subforums would just discourage me. but i know i'm in the minority and most people don't mind the forum format.

I'm thinking that the archive will be in the forum itself. But I know exactly what you mean about digging through forums to find what you want. I'm going to keep it as simple as possible and all the fics will be super easy to find. Thanks for the input!
