The university's theatre group is going to perform Oscar Wilde's The Importance of Being Earnest next semester! *dances around happily

I'd so like to know how the director wants to do it! Well, first meeting will be 10th of April, until then it's just waiting and wondering.
Thank you :) I really tried to make myself relax afterwards, and it worked a bit at least. Now it's the big fretting time when new courses have to be chosen and no one'S sure how the time table will look like afterwards. Ah well...
Spring, eh? I was waiting, too. Got totally surprised by one insanely hot day (for March) last week, and now I berate myself whenever I leave my cap at home. *glares at rain outside*
Horrible, isn't it? My mum's going to have her birthday party on Sunday - until then, I do hope spring remembers that it's its season right now. WEather forecast did mention something positive, hopefully they're right...
Yes, yes, yes!!!!!!!! Definitely coming to that one!
Course descriptions? What course descriptions? *scoff* "Thema aus der Literaturwissenschaft" is the course description for two classes of the "seminar II" category. Those total idiots. And I don't want to do any of the other two, because neither 20th century stuff nor restauration are interesting *pouts*
So, will you come to Pietsch's Ib in Linguistics about prescriptive grammar? There are still places, and I've enrolled in STiNE already. And don't forget the King Arthur lecture in ÄDL, if it fits into the timetable ;)
Isn't it great?! Greiner was quite shocked when he discovered that the UPs hadn't staged that before.
You know, those two yet unexistant courses are (for me) reason enough to refuse paying any study fees. I mean, how the hell are we supposed to get through our studies quickly when - a mere week before the courses start - half of them is missing?! I did enroll for Greiner's 20th century course because I'm considering making theatre my focus. I would've preferred another topic, though. Restoration comedy is important as history, but I'd rather read it for myself.
The way it looks now, I'll have to work mondays and tuesdays, so neither Linguistics nor King Arthur for me, I can't afford it. (Now that sounds bad)
Aw, such a pity @linguistics @ King A. - I'd have loved to. Hmm...I might do the Greiner one just to do another class with him (yeeees *g*) and becaue it's a drama class....
It is a pity. Anja isn't doing anything this semester, that's a pity, too. If there should come two great other topics sometime before semester starts - there were rumours about Greiner doing something Elizabethan - I'll enroll there too and take the 20th century drama as facultative. I hate this pre-semester uncertainty.
BTW, did you register for any language course? Their deadline was in February! Totally passed me. Am going to a counselling session on next Thursday, maybe I'll get a spot in a Translation II course *hopes*
Yes, I love it! Am so looking forward to the first reading (who's doing which part and how are the stage plans). I adore Wilde.
Thanks :) It's starting to work, I guess. Still have to wait for a thousand of things. How dare they demand study fees for such crap? *stops rant before it starts*
