I couldn't resist posting pictures of the present I'm making for Candice. It should be pretty rad when it's done. Fear the awesome weirdness! This is in a custom group so it won't spoil the surprise but just incase...

Yeah. Wrapping it is going to be a nightmare. I think I have a plan that will disguise the shape but I might have to ban shaking or moving the package. It's pretty heavy (6lb), all at one end obviously, and likely to move around or break through the packaging if held wrong. :/

We used to do this thing at my old store called a lollipop wrap, for things shaped like that. Sure usually they were garden stakes, but it could still work. You wrap the handle with tissue paper, then you put a big bag over the top and fill that with tissue paper and fluff some out to come out of the bottom of the bag all pretty like and then you tie it closed with ribbon. It can end up looking pretty, and then you know to grab it by the handle and it doesn't go through the bag.
