I never understood how being a Christian could be difficult until I came to college. I always took for granted being surrounded by people who shared the same beliefs as me and never having to prove myself. Now I'm here. I'm reading a scholarly book by Richard Purtill for my Tolkien and Lewis class. It's a bit dry at points and difficult to read because I want to be reading Return of the King right now, but the paper about this book due on Tuesday comes first.
