I love making cakes. I kind of knew that before, but now I dream about them, and about my next cake-making venture. Yesterday, I made my brother's birthday cake, which we will have today. It was cupcakes, actually, but so much fun that I found myself cackling as I worked. I even used marshmallow-fondant, which is super tasty

Have you considered taking a cake decorating class? My sister in law took one from Michael's and had an absolute blast! She highly recommended it. :)
