Today I felt so incredibly sick that I slept for 11 hours and then took almost a 1 hour nap this afternoon. I could have slept more too. I feel marginally better now after eating dinner (I don't know why though, because I didn't feel any better after eating lunch earlier) so I think I will make it to Michelle's party tonight ( Read more... )

I have so many books about Costa Rica right now I could probably start my own Costa Rica Library. Unfortunately no glimmer of genius has hit me about planning for the 9th grade class . . yet!

Well, I am here and alive. It has been a wild and wonderful month so far. Jason came up to visit May 4th and stayed for almost a week, which was awesome! He got to meet a bunch of people and go to the zoo with my sister and I and go up to Harper's Ferry to poke around. I did some cleaning this weekend. My room looks approximately 1-squintillion times cleaner, although there are still piles. Some of them are about to go out to my car (i.e., the one with the tire iron and the ice scraper I rescued from my old car) and some of them are about to go into my spoon bag, newly washed. In about 30 minutes, my dad is going to pick me up from work here and we are going to go car shopping. Before we go we're gonna swing by the apartment to pick up my stuff and hopefully a book I ordered will be sitting in a package right in front of the door, just for me!
