Awww...I'm sorry about the future's bum vacation... It is sad when you can feel the distance taking its toll. It's just an evil being, and I can completely empathize, myself being torn between two states thousands of miles apart.

But it'll work out. Maybe you guys could sneak in a weekend holiday or something? I went on a road trip with my best once. It rocked. We stayed with her family, and I guess we really didn't do too much...but it didn't matter because the company kept was the best part. *shrug* Maybe you guys could make that happen? I hate to see traditions die... It breaks my heart.

Otherwise, congratulations on your scholarship!! How exciting! You deserve it. ;o)
