thinking of quilting

I've done some baby quilts in the past. Two or three, that I've done for family or friends who were having children.  But I gave all my cut fabric blocks for those quilts to my neice who is a creative stitching wonder ATM. I'm thinking of quilting again because it seems like fun.... I was going to write some useful thing that would come out of ( Read more... )

It all depends on the type of motif/pattern of quilt that you're working up. (OK I know precious little about it but if you work the Hawaiian or the Maple leaf patterns you should be able to work your quilt in smaller sections when you commute and assemble them once they're finished.)

True. Almost any of the more complicated patterns (ie. more than just square blocks) I could piece together anywhere, and then assemble the blocks at home. :)
