winterlive asked for a little bit of RayK/Fraser for her birthday. I'm afraid this turned into a little more of a Diefenbaker fic, but I hope you like sweetie.
"No. You are not having any more cake. This is Ray's cake and he was more than generous last night by letting you have two slices when really you didn't even deserve one slice after the mess you made pulling the pizza box off the counter--"
"Woof." Ray rolled over in bed and smiled at the sounds coming from the kitchen.
"No you are not going in there to wake Ray up." He listened to Dief's claws on the floorboards and Fraser's careful footfalls chasing him. "Diefenbaker!"
And then Dief came through the door and jumped up on the bed to lick Ray's face, Fraser hot on his heels.
"I'm very sorry, Ray. I tried--"
"No apologies, just get up here and remind me that you kiss better than your wolf."
"Dief." Fraser sat on the edge of the bed and pushed Dief away. For once he didn't argue, just hopped down and left the room. "Good morning," he breathed into Ray's mouth as he leaned in for a kiss. "I'm sorry we woke you."
"No worries." They kissed again and then Ray asked, "So what about me? Can I have cake for breakfast?"
"Well, Ray. It's really not a very healthy breakfast. Perhaps I could make you an omelet with some whole grain toast," he offered.
"Come on, cake's got eggs and milk and flour. It's good for you."
"Ray--" Fraser started to protest and then they heard a thud followed by what clearly sounded like Diefenbaker licking his lips. "I ... uh... " he thumbed his brow and blushed. "I think there may not be any cake left."
A moment later Dief came trotting back into the room and dropped onto the floor next to the bed. He looked up at them with the most innocent look in his eyes. But there was no way to miss his muzzle covered in frosting.
Fraser sighed and turned back to Ray. "So, what would you like in your omelet."
