So I've kind of had this in my head for a while. Then last week I flipped on the TV just as Chad was coming on Rachel Ray and I had to watch, of course. And then the fic was even more stuck in my head. So here it is.
Title: Reflection

Beta: Thanks to
tjournal for looking this over and not laughing at me. Love you, sweetie.
He had the mirrored tiles installed after the split from Sophia. He figured it'd be hot to look up while some girl was riding him, to watch his dick disappearing inside her. But he never brought girls here, to his house, to his bed, to his most private space. All he ever saw in that mirror was himself. Alone.

When Jared told him about Jensen he was surprised. Surprised that Jared was gay, or bi, or whatever. Surprised that he'd gotten involved with Jensen -- surely Jared had learned something from him and Sophia. (Sandy was one thing, but you don't fuck around with co-stars you have to continue working with.) Mostly surprised that it seemed to be good for Jared, that he was happy.

He stared up at the mirrors, wondering what Jensen had that he didn't. It wasn't that he wanted Jared, but he couldn't deny the jealousy. That Jared was close to someone else, someone he'd only known for a short while. That they had some connection that Jared didn't have with him. That he had that connection with no one.
As he stroked himself off he thought about Jared's hands, mouth. But the image drifted and he was left staring at his own reflection when his orgasm hit.

Jared and Jensen were good for each other. He hadn't wanted to admit it, but when he saw them together it was undeniable.
They were all at Jared's place in LA. He turned the corner by the kitchen and caught sight of them. They were washing dishes, talking and laughing, clearly thinking they were alone for the moment. Over a sink of soapy water they just leaned in for a kiss. It was simple -- soft and short -- but it was real. Something he'd never experienced and only then realized he was missing.

When he brought Kenzie to his bed, he avoided looking up. He thought he should probably remove the mirrors before they did this again. He was careful to keep her above him, so she wouldn't look up and see. He didn't look either, keeping his eyes closed or fixed on hers the entire time. But as they lay there after, he kissed her and tried catching a glimpse in the mirror. For a second he thought maybe she was his Jensen.
