OMG, Yuletide is going to kill me. I've got 500 words so far and if I can just get it all out I'll be okay. The problem is that there's a mood I want that I'm not sure I'm achieving. For now I figure just get out the storyline and then I can work on tweaking it. I'm trying to just write and not edit myself as I go. *sigh ( Read more... )

if only plane tickets grew on trees

::sighs::

Stop self editing and WRITE. Then worry about making it good.

There's a reason Nordick Track machines were the shiznits 15 years ago ...

I stopped editing. It's just slow going to figure out how to get from the start to the finish. The path is hidden by the underbrush.

You know I tried a Nordic Track a few times and could never stay on it. Kind of like me and the spin bike. *g* But on actual snow and real skis? I did pretty good for my first time ever.

I could never stay on the damn things either. Something about keeping my hips against the thing? Hips wouldn't stay still.

I'm going to watch it tonight so anytime Friday and after you want to bounce something off me, I'll be ready

Yeah, x-country is so great - especially at night, those moonlit slides through the forest are magical. The only key is to wear clothes that wick well for all that sweat you work up :). I'll be curious to hear what you go for.

I don't do anything physical without wicking clothes. However, last Saturday morning I had a few too many layers on. I first took off my down vest. Then I unzipped my fleece jacket. Then off came the hat. Then the gloves (which were only liner gloves anyway). Then I pushed up my sleeves... It was super sunny and warm plus I was working super hard. Sweat, sweat, sweat.
