thinking about money and hard work and all that... you're only a semester away from completing your engineering undergrad degree. why don't you just finish it out, then go to grad school for physics? then you'd have the option of getting back into engineering if you ever wanted to. just a thought, in case it's possible.

a semester? no, sweetie. the 4-year plan went out the window about 4 years ago. i'm at least 4 semesters away from my engineering degree. that's why it's so ominous, and why i'm leaving the department.
