If this is what I think it is, from a half remembered articles from a couple of years ago..

I have to wonder how FAR apart you can get the action at a distance. I keep thinking this would lead to an instantaneous communicator. Dial up grandma on Io, talk to her in real time maybe?
Alpha Centauri on Line one?

You'd have to GET the other particle there of course... but still. Its interesting.

I had another thought, though it's a few years out yet. If entanglement is essentially a reference copy of an atom at a distance, what about teleporting grandma from/to Io? For that matter, what about storing grandma?
