If you play Scrabble, then please give me some advice on these modified tiles I'm considering putting into the December art show using as a Yule gift.

I like the A & d that have the fully colored backgrounds. Those are also both good fonts for me to read. Most of the other fonts make my head hurt (oh, the second a is a good font as well. Skewing the letters also bother my eyes. Just saying... YMMV.

Interesting notion - an entire scrabble tile set done up this way...!! The board would admittedly be more difficult to read at a glance, but so much more interesting for the players :) If they were not meant to go into a scrabble set, what would one use them for? fridge magnets that could be used to spell something out - like those poetry magnets?

But they ARE meant to go into a Scrabble set. I have an old boxed game and I'm ready to cut and glue.

Oh - maybe I didn't quite understand your original post then. Yes, I think it'd be a hoot to play with a set made up with tiles like these... Have you seen the giant scrabble set?? It has many more spaces & more tiles too... Wish it wasn't so pricey, we 3 would have a blast with it..never-ending games :)
