Clocks and Photographs

Nov 17, 2010 20:41

I'm producing stock for the yearly December art show. This year, I'll be making photos with clocks mounted in them. If you have issues with graphic heavy pages, you might want to skip this post.

Every thumbnail in this post is linked to a 1024x768 pixel image if you want to take a closer look.

Do please offer me an opinion on which are the strongest images. I'm looking on putting 4 of the first 8 into the show. I'm so deeply into this project that I'm beginning to loose all perspective on which might be the best images. I have reviewed, albeit fleetingly, 10 years worth of images today.

Chihuly Onion, 8x10 inches, from the Missouri Botanical Garden

Chihuly Tentacle, 8x10 inches, from the Missouri Botanical Garden

Kwan Yin, 8x10 inches, from the Pagan Picnic

Public Goddess, 8x10 inches, from the Laumeier Sculpture Park

Running Man, 8x10 inches, from downtown Clayton

Sphinx, 7x8 inches, from the Calvary cemetery

Sunflower, 8x10 inches, from Lumbar Achers north of St Louis

Art Museum, 8x10 inches, from the St Louis Art Museum

I'm less sanguine about the following. Mainly I think they're too busy, but the Photoshop templates are done. If you feel strongly about any of them, please sound off.

Chihuly Boat, 7x9 inches, from the Missouri Botanical Garden

Faerie, 8x10 inches, from the Wentzville Renaissance Fair

Cactus, 8x10 inches, from the Missouri Botanical Garden

Serpent, 6x8 inches, from the Webster Groves 4th of July fair

Dandelion, 5x7 inches, from Oak Knoll Park in Clayton

Poppy, 8x10 inches, from the Missouri Botanical Garden

One final note: Athan, do you think Geoff would want this one in his shop? It's about 6x8 inches.
