It's here.

I feel there to be so much energy on this eve of the eve of this historical election.

Here's my actual livejournal identity, if there is such a thing. I still blog. I've just been doing it somewhere different.

I would find some other way to contact you. But it seems like I suffer from a chronic avoidance of committing to contacting people, and instead exist from a grid-work social life that is contingent on the "keep in touch" concept.

I don't want to stop knowing who you are, and livejournal, oddly enough, is the only way I've ever really gotten to know who you are.
SO...I spose what I'm trying to say is: it would mean a lot to me if we could keep track of each other until we happen to conceivably cross paths again.

I empathize with your "unfortunates," and feel an additional one to be- I don't post anymore these days (don't write in my paper journal, either). I no longer seem to have those elaborate verses running through requiring an outlet. So there's much less to keep in touch with through livejournal... Why does spell check squiggle "livejournal" on livejournal? Lame.

Anyways, 1. where'd the additional blog come from? 2. we should just get the guts to get a drink sometime soon. I live in the suburbs now, but am in the city every day.

I know our families are a bit estranged now, but it doesn't negate the fact that I'd also like to keep learning about who you are. I can only assume that your life has become a bit more complicated within the past year, and you should know that I truly hope for you to tackle it no less than magnificently.

I write a lot at post-3am when avoiding sleep. Good, bad, whatever.

Talk to you soon,
Cheryl

I like that you said guts. That strikes me somehow as both hilarious and oddly fitting. Whatever- our mutual families have no true relevance to our continued contact; and besides, Marion and I are more or less friends and harbor mostly good will in each other's directions. Let's drink a drink.

I mostly orbit around the west/northwest suburbs. Where are you living now? If you're anywhere near DuPage county, it shouldn't be terribly hard to meet up sometime soon.

It's a shame you no longer post- I always really did enjoy your writing. I'm sure that the trade-off is worth it though.
