An alumna from Simmons sent me a letter, and enclosed she had an article from the Boston Globe about Women's Colleges. 
It was REALLY interesting. If you want to read the whole article, google "yes to women's colleges" and click on the Boston Globe site.

oh, and yeah, the only reason that I'm considering going to an all-girls school is cause of the EMPOWERMENT factor.

But i don't want to spend my life hating men or anything.

So I'm still not so sure about the dating scene.

YESSSSS! the article talked about empowerment and it just seems SO COOL!
i don't think you will HATE men. you will just be knowledgable that we are NOT inferior. that we can be on top, too.
im not so worried about the dating scene with Simmons because there are 5 other co-ed colleges right next to it(it sandwiches Emmanuel) and it's in boston. where is Smith? i honestly cant remember for the life of me haha.

but, i do know, as a fact, that all-girls schools can be reaally cool.

it's like AIM but instead of typing, you talk. so you need a microphone and preferably a headset if there are other people in the room. and apparently you can like actually make real calls with it. like if there is a phone number on a website, you can click on it and it will call. and it's free. and it doesnt take up a phone line, apparently.

hahaa i know. but simmons is better than most, because there are MORE than 5 co-ed colleges within walking distance of it. and there will be boys in some of my classes, because you can cross register with the other fenway schools. so i will not be boy deprived. but i have not made my decision if i want to go there yet lol

Yeah, that was Matt Mazz who wrote all those lmfao. He did it in our study, he got like 50 trays and wrote it on them ALL and then just put them back and was like "wow, I can't wait till first lunch". It was hysterical.

It's also on a crapload of the desks lol.
