"im the king of NY!!"
so today i went to NYC with my roomate casey and a few of her friends. and we had a grand old time! her friends were really cool and nice. just what i had expected. =D
we woke up, got ready, sarah and mike picked us up, then went to pick up biggs and jeff. we mexican packed that car baby! got to the train station but missed the 10:30 train so we waited for the 11:30. it was ok though cause me and casey are cool and made oragami (sp?) things. casey made a cup and i made an uber cool hover craft thing....and i know you all care. ;)
we got on the train and i find out that my cd player has NO battery left....whoopsie! so i decided to keep myself entertained and started singing anything that popped into my little head. lets see....there was wicked (of course), the goldfish song, the toys r us song, queen, south park, newsies, tom petty, nortre dame fight song, youve lost that love and feeling (at mikes request)...and i think thats it. twas a fun train ride!
when we got there we got something to eat cause we were starving. i got some chinese....general tsos chicken to be exact. it was yummy. =) then we pretty much headed to central park. we got onto the metro and got off at 59th. there were these people there...one was dressed in a fake fur coat with a bunch of little stuffed animal heads on it...and the other was dressed in a coat with a bunch of naked baby dolls all over it. there were literally screaming at anyone with a fur coat and calling them murderers and sick people....o man it was so funny. we call them the crazy anti fur people. mike really wanted to run up to the woman wearing babys and yell "baby killllllleeeerrrr!....no no wait....baby doll killlllleeeeerrrr!!!" haha! o man.
we went through central park and walked through the gates. they were cool for what it was...but it wasnt all that exciting...i mean...they were all the same (some wider than others....OoOoO...big woop...lol.) and they were everywhere. we got a little piece of the gates that people were handing out...it wasnt actually the same fabric though...rip off...but it still will remind me of this day. we just walked around central park all over. casey was excited we didnt get lost lol.
there were a lot of people there obviously cause theyre taking it down tomorrow or monday. and there were sooo many people with dogs/puppies. it was so much fun to look at all the cute puppies...and some had little booties on...one was even hot pink!
we saw some woman with really fuzzy boots and mike made the chewbacca noise...and casey was like "they look like snufolufogus (sp?)boots!" =P
after that we headed to caseys apartment. it was really nice...not too big...not too small...and really nice furniture...we played with the little city puzzles that she had...i couldnt figure it out cause yep...im stupid...oh well.
we then headed out to get pizza. we found a little place and it was really yummy. i got a slice of pepperoni and one with chicken, tomatoes, and onions on it. i really liked it.
then we headed to times square. we went into the toys r us store and played with the toys. that store is ginormous! the was a t-rex in it and i wanted to take a picture of it...so i said "smile!"....and it roared at me! hahaha! me and mike thought it was sooo funny.
it was getting close to 6:30 and me and casey had to head back to the apartment and then catch the 7:07 train. everyone else was staying in the city longer.
the train ride home was more relaxed...we were tired lol. i listened to wicked and casey to her ipod. i saw this dude there that looked sooo much like william sadler...but i wasnt sure if it was him or not....i really wanted to ask but i didnt. when i got back i went onto imdb to see if it might have been him...i dont think it was....but he sure as hell looked a lot like him. we even kind of had a staring contest...kind of creeped me out but i still couldnt figure it out or not...hahaha.
o man...good times in NYC. i had so much fun and i hope we do something like this again.
