1. no matter how many times people try to explain it to me, i will never understand the concept that is "postmodern". and i always see it used and i don't think it really means anything anyway. i see what you mean about knowing what those words mean but can't define them. i also frequently struggle to prounounce "kitsch", my tongue gets all confused.

2. probably taste, which seems illogical since i love food, but since most of what you taste is smell it seems the best option.

yeah totally, you dont taste much with your toungue so thats the easiest to lose. now SMELL thats a differnt matter - imagine losing all the associations you have with different smells ( ... )

bare in mind that taste and smell are closely linked - if you lose one you lose half the other as well. i'd rather lose hearing - as it's half gone already!

dear bro:
thats what i meant - although the tongue is supposedly your 'taste' organ , it only deals with salt, bitter, sour and sweet (well it did back when i was at school, althiugh i think now theres flavonoids and compounds like in almonds and avocadoes), but the tastes of most everything else - cinnamon, vanilla, seaweed,garlic... are in the nose.

i thought maybe touch as a second option. but that also includes pain receptors so basically it would be like having leprosy and youd lose your fingers accidentally and sit down in bonfires without noticing etc. also i guess sex in included in the 'touch' category so thatd be quite a bummer to lose
