So I spent last Thursday and Friday dreading a weekend filled completely with things that are, in theory, fun. Just that all of them involved on a lot of people counting on me and having to be (and get a lot of people) a lot of places at once. I need to refocus and keep things in perspective. It's not so much of an issue of it being actually owned by me as it is that, logistically, it just sucks getting equipment down to the basement and keeping people segregated to a part of the house where there's not much steal-able/break-able stuff (which was actually, not even much of an issue in either of my past two houses). Just doing this band party, it took 20 minutes to get one drumset to the basement and my oven and fridge still got dinged up by amps. I'm not giving up on the concept though as I actually am friends with several young gentleman who either are moving into potential space or will be moving into them...so you know...stay tuned as far as that goes. I miss the old days too...I wish the information network was as tight as it used to be. I have a hell of a time just keeping tCF up to date with all of the various comings and goings we need to be present for, let alone, Lansing as a whole but damn, I miss, like, the Infoshop/house-show crowd. Well, like I said, I'm working on that, even if it's not my house...there'

I'll have to check out 'No Said Date'. I've fallen way behind on my following the sides, but I remember really liking Bobby Digital when my then roommate who is my roommate now got it.
