JEALOUS AGAIN...

I was marveling at how I've managed to be so incredibly procuctive this week, while taking just enough time for leisure to keep my head straight ( Read more... )

Aw, thanks dude. It's such a weird feeling too. It's not really just tCF stuff...I feel like I have this weird imaginary "empire" to uphold which tCF is just a part of. In reality, there is no "empire" and I'm sure there are plenty of other people looking at what I'm doing and wanting to even just get to that point. I guess you can't focus on what everyone else is doing because that's really just counterproductive and frustrating, but sometimes it fuels the fire.

But yes, thank you for the daily affirmation from the book of Curd...a mere appetizer to my yearly dose of Curd in '06.

I think i was saying something the other day how you are kind of like the suave, level-headed king of a gang of thieves and swindlers. Jabba the Hut, maybe?

I suppose there are many ways to say, "compared to your friends, you're not that much of an asshole." j/k. But this would explain why I can't seem to stop spinning the mafia/hustle-inspired "gangsta' rap" lately.

That's why a week I think I worked really hard will be followed up by one where I work twice as hard. Motherfucker.

this is a fabulous sentence Gus. I am proud of you, and all of your accomplishments. also, I didn't say anything at the time, but I completely noticed the statement of "the owl house" the other day.

i miss you crazy cale.

Haha, shucks. Miss you too. Glad to see things going well w/ Chuck and you looking so happy!

Funny story on the making of "the owl house." Ozzie's family x-mas features a "white elephant" just like mine does. While these were going on at the same time, I managed to end up with this cheesy plastic owl motion detector (that even "hoo hoooo"s when you pass it) and he ended up with a giant owl painting through total coincidence. We figured it was fated to become "the owl" house...and of course, my obvious fondness for all things owly ;)

My Mom collects Owls. Paintings. Statues. Figurines. Copper plates. ETC.

She inherited a large collection from my Grandma and has added tons more. 80+ pieecs. It's the 'default gift' if you can't come up with anything for X-mas/Mothers Day/New Years.

So.

If your place is the Owl House then I'm from the fucking Taj Ma Owl Hall.
