Great Lakes! I don't need no great escapes...

Did you ever wonder why people only seem to care about the infinite nature of the universe or life's meaning when they are somehow altered or of such a ridiculous level of intillect that they are unable to enjoy any simple nuances of life ( Read more... )

The bio you should have had 3 days ago. It's most definitely on the agenda for this afternoon. We were discussing your demos at my superbowl party, btw, and everyone that had heard them or been to your most recent show agreed that you guys are starting to really come around...so kudos on that.
I'll make you a copy of the new Lawrence Arms if you want it? You'll have to kill someone for me though first...or just come to either the tCF show at Metrospace this Sat. or the one next Fri. at the Delta Hall to get it...

I'd much rather study the ins and outs of the human brain and it's pesky nature...

in that case, i have a couple of neat layman's neuroscience books that you're welcome to borrow. the human brain definitely interests me a great deal.

kind of unrelated, but have you read 'galapagos' by kurt vonnegut? the human race ends up de-evolving, well evolving but in a way that means losing our higher consciousness, because our big brains were causing us more trouble than good. it's an excellent read.

I escaped to the Great Lakes, sometime around my birthday.
Its a nice place for being unseen.
Craziest thing...I read all this morning about the clairavoiant Saints of Calcutta in the 1920's. And, so...yea, this entry seemed to strike a chord with me in a few ways.

Ok, thanks to your calming conversation, I came up with the lyrics for the intimate accoustic ballad just now in the shower.

"Help me! Help me!
I'm lost in this slow, white dream
Ignored even as I scream...

Beckoned far by the air.
Only the air does care.
I cry out in your sleep.
Reaching up to your feet.

Help me! Help me!
I'm blind in a busy street,
Reaching out for the hand I need.

Blinded in her blue white,
Ventured down from great heights.
Singing through the bright sea.
She sings only to me..."

Thanks for the focus! : )

Hey, don't mention it! It's rare that I get to play muse. If you're cool enough w/ the results, I'm still interested in hearing it if you can format it to shoot through to:
