By now he's actually up and dressed, cleaning out Jack's hutch while he explores the hut timidly, because if he doesn't do something he'll just feel totally fucked.
The knock startles him, and he wonders if it's Lloyd, or if Reid does house calls now. That it's Jim startles him a little more, 'cause after the shit he said he didn't think he'd be seeing him again. At first he thinks Jim's here to return something he left at his place, but the look on his face says otherwise. "Are you okay," he asks, that emotional funk clearing as he watches him.

And now, just in case he never gets to do it again because he's the one delivering this news, he lifts his hands and cups either side of Miguel's face to kiss him. Just once. Just in case he does get that punch he's kind of been expecting.

And God, isn't that terrifying? Miguel knows better than to ask what the fuck that was. It was, well, nice, too. It's hard to keep up the whole not-gay thing when he remembers how much he likes kissing this guy. "So, not okay then," he prompts, stepping back to pull the door open. "Hurry in before the rabbit splits."

When Miguel invites him in, though, he comes inside without saying a word. Closing the door behind him, he leans against the door and takes in a few deep breaths. It doesn't really help, but he can't just blurt this out. He can't be that much of a dick.
"Sorry," he says, giving a cough of a laugh finally. "I didn't know what else to do."
