Okay I'm kinda taking a poll - or maybe a survey - really what I want you to do is to answer a not so simple question. At first it might seem simple, but on 2nd 3rd and 58th thought the simplicity of it doesnt make since. Mainly the simplicity is just too damn boring - gosh what a surprise ( Read more... )

The Hitchikers Guide to the Galaxy says you just need to learn to fall at the ground and miss. A distraction usually helps you forget the fact that youre falling long enough to stop. But distractions like these are few and far between.

Maybe I'm just missing the whole point (I'm not really...its just really late...or early...), but on January 1, 1990 I was freaking 17, about to turn 18 in less than two weeks. I had already accepted the reality that my dad was going to die well before he ever had a chance to get to know my yet-to-be-born children. That I was about to leave home for college that year, and let my relationship with the rest of my family be forever changed. So saying its 1990 and I'm ten is a double-edge... I'd have yet to leave home when my dad died, but at the same time I wouldn't have had the chance to come to terms with it as I did from being older ( ... )

Alright, I'll have my go at this thing...

1990... lets see that would have made me 4, going on 5. So for the sake tylenol, lets stick to 4.

I would have done better in school, and gone to college instead of high school, have my degree, and already be teaching.

I would have paid better attention in Latin, its still something that I want to learn.

I would have told my uncle to go fuck himself while we were in europe and gotten to do some of the things that I wanted to do.

I wouldn't hae let my Dad drive car (which he totaled btw and it was a model that they don't make anymore).

Other than that... nothing really. Aside from those few things, I'd say that I am happy with my life and the way that it has gone.

I can think of a load of things that I would have done differently, but none of them would happen because they happened when I married a man 9 years older than me and if I'd only been ten in 1990 he and I would never have crossed paths. Other than that let's see ( ... )

I decided not to publicly comment on each response, I have something in the works for the ones I really like. The good ones will know what it is when I'm done.

Thanks to you who responded and to those who will.
