On the Sojourners' listserv this week, there was an article about prayer - "intentionally spending time with the divine." I like that definition. I think it's just a question of being open to whatever the divine/the universe/various spiritual forces swirling around in whatever form they're doing it in are trying to tell you. Thinking about someone is a form of that, a form of being open to things other than yourself and the messages they're trying to send you.

Meanwhile, I'm trying to test the theory of whether you can actually get high off of chocolate chips. Wish me luck.
