Update!
My surgery went fine. The nurses were really nice to me and like, three of them had actually had work done by the doctor themselves (and it was good because I couldn't tell what they had had done) and even though I was there an hour longer than I thought I'd be, it still got over nice and quickly and apparently I'm healing abnormally well.
