Instrument and Why: I love the sad, romantic sounds of the cello. I enjoy hearing it in the background of some music (ie: Belle & Sebastian) but more so as a main instrument (ie: Rasputina). I also love how Rasputina uses it as an emphasis and their bringing about of the "electric cello."

**Random**

If you could change something about yourself, what would it be? Why? I would be more confident. I find that a lot of people have much more confidence in me than I do which is very sad. I am not just wishing on this one but trying to achieve it as I think life would be more fun & comfortable if I did!

What is something you find beautiful? Those akward 15 year olde girls in striped stockings, boots & too much eyeliner. They struggle to wear dark colors everyday and rat their hair. There is something so innocent about them, trying to find their way... their identity. The way it strikes a cord in you and brings up olde memories or reminds you of someone you once knew or just that not everyone is a clone, there's something beautiful in that.

What is something you find "ugly" (not necessarily in a physical sense)? Lately I've been around a lot of sickness so I am going to have to go with that. Seeing what being ill does to you is terrible and when you've got it you feel ugly as well.

What are your hobbies/interests? As of late it's been hair, hair, hair. I've been making & installing dreads, sewing in some human hair wefts and wearing my own dread falls more often. I'm also a hair stylist so I am doing hair a lot at the salon I work at (but it's pretty boring at this time/my current location).

Tell us something interesting about yourself: I lived in Germany for three years & it is a goal of mine to become fluent in the language. (I wish I would have then & am kicking myself now over it).

**And Finally**

How would you define a "morbid beauty"? When I hear "morbid beauty" I think fetish model. That girl with the fire-red dreads in the nurse's outfit; that bone-thin, tall boy with electric tape hiding his nipples & tight vinyl pants with buckle boots that cover most of said pants; the top-heavy girl in a babydoll dress dangling a teddy bear in front of the camera, these to me are morbid beauties.

Why do you belong here? I belong here because (always a good way to start an admissions essay -heh heh-) I don't have a problem flaunting my pictures around. I am easy on the eyes. I am very interested in seeing what goes on here and what I can add (other than what I think I can, listed below). I'd like to talk to like minds.

How did you find out about this community? Someone on my friend's list is a member.

What will you bring to this community? I can only imagine that I will bring ideas, perhaps hair related, perhaps not. I will post photos, obviously, and maybe other random oddities if they're accepted. A cheery disposition? Well, maybe not that...
