Go with your gut. Love is GRAND indeed. Both on the giving and the receiving. There is another word that fits here too, Karma. Your heart is very raw and very open. Escapism, yeah we all do it, but being aware is the key...to change. I am so glad that you did not stop writing here, I knew there was something else.... Be at peace and take good care of that heart.

Absolutly. Believe it or not, I have no computer at home and am not too savy (never done it) on the net with live chats and such....I hope to have one soon. It is so laughable, I am a systems analyst and in the work world.....go figure. It will come....

I wrote a really long post and then erased it all.

The short answer is: you have the potential to be a guide, you just need to learn a few more things first.

Yes, we all have a lot to learn. And we will all (hopefully) be learning until the day we die.

I was more specifically referring your idea about being a guide. My fear for you would be that you would sacrifice who you are for someone else. I realize that at this point, you feel better if you give yourself up for someone else. I have a very similar notion, which I believe ties back to my issues with self worth. I save others first because I believe that they are more worthy that I am. Also, it is a way of making oneself seem more important. Look there, look how many I saved.

The lesson here is to learn to take care of yourself first. My friend J. always chides me on this. He says, "Rita if you were in an airplane going down. YOu have to put on your own oxygen mask first." And I always answer "But it's my first instinct to help someone else." His wise reply, "Yes, you could save that one person. But if you put on yours first, you could save ten."

Just something to think on.
