Yeah. We...have different tastes in music. I don't have to listen to the songs to know that. Why?
It might sound like shit at times.
It might have a horriable backup singer.
But its music.
Its real.
It sounds like someone actually recorded it live.
I don't care if someone records something live. It has to sound good. They can't sound like they're making things up as they go along. It has to sound...polished. Like they really know what they're doing. Like they've given it some thought and practiced. Otherwise, I don't feel like it's real work. And music is work.

Did you actually listen to the song???
It isnt fake, which is what lots of modern music sounds like.
It is genuine music, which counts for a lot in my book.
It isnt just the song, its the artist.
For example, I absolutly hate Ashlee Simpson.
Not only does she lipsink, but she also doesnt write her own songs.
And on top of that, all that she is doing is riding her sisters fame.
So much music sounds fake today, you can hear it anytime you turn on the radio.
This is a refreshing alternative.

btw, the song is polished, the recording isnt.
A lot of what you here on the radio and on most pop music is lots of "copy and pasted" stuff. They make multiple recordings and paste the good parts together into what you here. That is why I have such respect for artists that play live in concert.

There's 324235325 songs called "bright lights". Care to tell me which one I'm supposed to listen to?

I mean stuff that is actually performed live, not prerecorded and then lipsynced. (I KNOW its misspelled.)

ok so rappers perform live w/ no lipsync but you still hate them becasue some of their recorded songs are cut and paste

I dont hate cut and paste artists. Everyone in the music industry is doing it. I actually like some rappers, and a lot of their songs. I just dont like the topics that most of rap seems to rap about, sex. Its quite boring to listen to. But, it is, after all, music.
Rap is modern poetry.
