Ok so why do I feel like my heart's being ripped out????

I'm over him. I dont want him. We would probably never work out in the long run. Then why do I feel this way? He's moved on, I have to accept that...even if I really dont want to but know I should. Someone please tell me how you truly say goodbye to someone you care so deeply for. I'm getting goosebumps just thinking about him....and then of course
