Both Kasi and I could use a RAM upgrade for our computers, but all of the RAM I've seen is rather expensive. She has a Dell Latitude and mine is slightly more home made. I don't know what the motherboard is on my computer, but it is compatible with the Athlon processor it came with. I'm also using old PC133 RAM ( Read more... )

Make sure you pair Pricewatch with http://www.resellerratings.com/

Some of the 'lowest price' sellers on Pricewatch are shady people, and you shouldn't do business with them.

... but do look at the number of stars next to a given dealer's name. I do, and I've yet to have issues.

www.pricewatch.com and www.newegg.com are where I do most of my computer shopping. I think all I have right now for is 32 meg sticks of pc 133. I'll poke around a bit in my junk machines though.
