As I told you earlier, I like guns, I like the 2nd amendment, I think everyone should be ALLOWED to own guns, but I don't think EVERYONE SHOULD own guns, because some people are dumb, after all.

I got the impression that you thought that I'd dislike this entry, but on the contrary, I agree wholeheartedly. I'm guilty of calling people Communists, but it's all in good fun. I, in turn, can be called Fascist and I, quite honestly, don't care. I tend to be extremely conservative, but I don't consider myself a moron so I am flexible.

As far as someone saying "Get the hell out of here, you're ruining out country," I want to meet this person and smack them with a history book or maybe just the Declaration of Independence.

I unfortunately could not vote in this election (missed it by a year, darn *snaps*), but I do have a party affiliation. After hearing both sides during each of their respective conventions, I stuck with the candidate of my party (to promote, that is). Yes, my family is republican, but i based my opinions on my convictions about life and how I view the world. No, I don't think every move Bush has made is the appropriate one, but he's definitely, in my opinion, the best candidate for the job.

I'm glad you understood my point, I don't care who anyone voted for; my main peeve (among other things I mentioned in the post) is people make such important decicions, uninformed, uneducated, unresearched and on instinct. It makes me beam with joy to hear that you did your research, weighed your opinions against the information given to you and then made a decision. Even if you weren't able to vote, I'm glad you went through the motions of being informed. If only more people would do such things I do think the world would be a better place. Thanks for the post H_Dreamer.
