Magic the gathering rocks!
I'm not an expert and tend to require assistance while playing the game, but when my family gets together on holidays we play magic after the dinner.
my brother, younger sister, brother-in-law and I all play. We tend to work in teams because my brother and brother-in-law have more experience.
We tend to comprise our deck completely of one genre. Like I am in love with the elves and druids and have devoted my collection to finding such cards to become the green wizard. My brother is in love with the wolf packs and tends to comprise his decks to represent such a force. this strategy may not prove to be strong standing alone, but together we rock.
it has become a tradition, even though i suck, i enjoy play for hours.

I used to play untill God told me to toss it all out the door into the bin wich i did.Either He thinks there's something He disagree with the game or He didn't wanted me to play it.That's why i didn't buy the game. The only card game i want to play is Gother than thou

yeh, i get that. I find that there are many things that God says i can't do but its okay for my friends. in my case its typically my heart and mentality toward the subject or object in question.
when it comes to the gathering, for me, its like old maid. its away to have fun with my siblings, i don't really collect them or even play them outside of christmas and thanksgiving.
