Why is it always a sex issue? Why are women always looked down upon or coddled because of their gender by men or even by other women? Why was it okay for Hillary Clinton to be mocked and derided for giving off a strong appearance in her pantsuits but not okay for Sarah Palin to be questioned about her political capability in her skirts

I hear ya. You feel the gender difference the most when you are in a male-dominated field, especially engineering.
I feel the gender difference, too....almost every day. There has been instances where I felt like people didn't take me (my ideas) seriously because I was a female. I wondered what their response would have been if they had thought I was a guy.
