I rented The Notebook tonight, after much recommendation from a couple of people at work. I thought it looked kinda cheesy, but it was a really, really lovely film. I was bawling by the end of it, of course, but that's the sign of a well-made movie, right ( Read more... )

Well, I wouldn't know, but one could argue that it's better to love and lose than never to love at all. I guess it's just poo, either way.

I guess I shall have to rent this... but I'm sure that will just remind me of Prom and make me cry/kill Justin...

But in other news, the almost 16 year old *might* be allowed to go to Prom... meh.

You ought to check out the book, too. I cried when I saw the movie, but I bawled for hours when I read the book.
