Okay so I just have to start this post by apologizing for the last and thanking everyone for kind words and thoughts. It really wasn't that bad--just an expulsion of a bunch of pent up anxiety and anger. I needed a medium to get it out and livejournal was just sitting there. So yeah. Many apologies and thanks!

Yay, I'm glad you're feeling better : )
Catcher in the Rye was easily my favorite book from high school. I don't know how much I got out of the class analysis since my teacher was a little insane. She decided everyone in the class had to pick out one of Holden's neuroses and explain why. It almost destroyed the character for me.
Natalie Weiss is incredible and I cannot wait to see where she goes. I seriously just watch her videos on youtube over and over because I love her voice so much (how creepy am I?)

Not creepy AT ALL. I do the same thing, only it's more natalie weiss and then any Univ of Michigan alum or current student, because they're all redic. I don't think we're alone though...

Glad you're feeling better. I never read Great Gatsby, To Kill a Mockingbird or Catcher in the Rye. I was supposed to read Great Gatsby in high school, but I just could NOT get through it. Oh well.

I must say though, that Eats, Shoots, and Leaves is a fantabulous book. Everyone should read it :)

My mom used to play trivial pursuit with my dad, even while pregnant. Ever since then, I've been hesitant.
