good on you, more! i had nightmares for weeks after, dreaming that i had given in and sparked up a smoke =X quitting will drain you of all patience and happiness for a while, but remember i luv you, and you're a stronger woman for deciding to kick this useless habit.
it's been about 20 weeks, and all cravings have mostly ceased, except when i'm drunk =( drinking and smoking were like fourplay and sex... they just go hand in hand =p

Man... scary prospects. I know I have to quit too, but damned if I didn't love smoking so very much. I quit for a week when I first got up here because I was around my family every waking hour. You may want to try that; if anything gives you a reason not to smoke, it's probably hanging out with the family.
Eventually, I snuck out and was up to my old tricks. My problem isn't the nicotine so much, but the habit... when all my friends smoke, damned if I'm not doing the same. In fact, I wonder if some of my friendships aren't entirely based on smoking...

Not entirely based on smoking, I'm sure, though I see what you mean. That whole peer pressure thing we were warned about during afterschool specials? It's real. But we're aware of it. It's not sneaky; I know what I want to do and what I 'should' do
