Sometimes, when I am wakeful, I stay up and read from the various books I've let accumulate dust over the years. There was a rather brilliant anthology of various authors of Britain over the years, and it had the most curious ancedotes tossed in between the pages

I think cats are a splendid idea, myself.

I also think I may begin to cast my mind back to bad memories, long since forgotten, of three little sisters and the middle one who was often overlooked, but always watching.
