great post!

I had the same experience when I moved to London. Before I started my job I cruised around town and looked at all teh grey people and the way they all rushed, rushed, rushed and pushed past you. If you ask people directions they would often just walk off without saying anything and rush onward.

yes.. it's hard to cope with so many peoples energies.. on a hippy level, people are all over each others auras all the time, getting affected like cattle spooked by a storm. Self created barriers are inevitable.

I always wanted to live in New York for a couple of years. Are you there for good or will you move back to Melbourne at some stage? noosnomis says you are working a family business or something?

hey , at this point of time i'm not sure if i'm ever going to move back to Melbourne, i miss Melbourne and all the people there a lot though. but yes i'm current;y working with my family, and we're in the fashion industry. but yeah NYC is great, it was kinda lonely at first when i didn't know anyone yet but after i got to know the city better and everything, it was great.

i would definately advise you to move to NY if thats what you've always wanted to do. :)
