Reflections on some oatmeal

When making quaker instant oatmeal, don’t put in too much water. It makes it nasty and decreases the level of satisfaction one can possibly extract from the oatmeal. Don’t judge me, it was brown sugar oatmeal. My grandma eats her oatmeal without brown sugar. Don’t judge her either. She has been making oatmeal for a long long time. I prefer my ( Read more... )

dude, too much water TOTALLY ruins instant oatmeal. when i accidentally add too much i want to cry because then my oatmeal sucks. oh how i miss oatmeal

I like apple cinnamon oatmeal, but I haven't had it for a while. I don't have a measuring cup though, so I might accidentally put too much water in. Is it worth it to get the oatmeal if I don't have a measuring cup? ~Em

maybe... so far i've gotten it right about 1/2 the time. i don't do it very often so i never am sure. It's a pretty big struggle of mine.

I was definitely thinking the same thing this morning when I was eating my brown sugar oatmeal with too much water. Dude...get out of my head.
