This was one of the hardest decks to build I've ever had in this format.  Obviously I had heaps of playables, but hardly any fixing.  I figured I could go in two directions, UBw tempo or straight Esper.  I built the former, figuring it was about as strong, and the mana was better for the most part.  I pained me to leave such good cards as Sludge Strider on the sidelines while playing my last pick Etherium Abomination, but he made more sense in this deck, and was quite good for me everytime...

The Puppet Conjurer was a bit out of place in this deck, so I usually boarded in out in favour of Blister Beetle or Unsummon except against my last opponent who had a lot of fatties.

ROUND ONE vs Jund

Game one he had Sprouting Thrinax on turn 3, while my first play was a turn 4 Transmuter.  his turn 4 was a Singe Mind Ogre which revealed my Couldheath Drake, which put me on 12 with an attack from Thrinax.  my turn 5 was nice though, as I transmute Sphinx in to play putting him on 10, and then replay Transmuter.  It was still close though, as he attacked with both guys, Resounding Roar-ed the Ogre when I blocked with the big guy, and then played Nacatl Savage.  My next turn was awesome though, as I played Deny Reality on his 2/1, cascading in to Sanctum Gargoyle who returned Sphinx to my hand.  On his turn I block his Thrinax with Gargoyle, and then transmute it to my hand and Sphinx in to play.  I think you can see where this is going...

Game two is a race.  he has turn two Leech while I have turn two Esper Blade, powered up off a turn one Borderpost.  he has turn three Rip Clan Crasher while I have a Brackwater Elemental.  he terminates the Elemental to swing in for another 7, putting me on 8.  I have Alchemist next though, to bounce his Leech and then trade with the Crasher.  nice in a race.  he doesn't replay the Leech but plays Viashino Slaughtermaster and Topan Ascetic.  I smell a pump spell for the double-striker so I Crystalise it, unearth Elemental and swing in.  he trades Ascetic for the Elemental and drops to 7 from the flyer.  next turn he just plays the Leech, so I then play a hastey Drake and put him on 1.  no pump for you Leechey... he scoops.

ROUND TWO vs Jund

he has a turn three Deathraider which I kill with Agony Warp and then play Capsule.  I can't find a fourth land for my two Drakes, but I also have double Alchemist in hand, so I figure I can at least trade one with the Grixis Grimblade he plays next, but I draw the land and hit him with a haste guy.  he kills it with Souls Fire on his turn and hits me for 2, and then I play my second Drake and hit him down to 14.  he plays Dragger next, which I bounce with Alchemist, who then trades with his Blade.    he cycles his Dragger rather than replaying it, while I make Transmuter.  his next play is Singe Mind Ogre who reveals my Corpse Connoisseur but I have Slave of Bolas, Deny Reality and another Alchemist in hand also so once I get to five mana it's pretty much over.

the next game is missing from my game history but from memory he scooped pretty early on after not doing much except play lands for the first few turns.

FINALS vs 5C

Game one is missing also, but I mulligan in to a hand with plains and islands but no black, and I'm pretty much a goner by the time I draw a swamp.  I can't remember much else except he did five to me with Exploding Borders.

I keep an awkward hand on the play, of UW borderpost, swamp, island, deny reality, cloudheath drake, corpse con, and etherium abomination.  I then draw two islands.  he has turn three Bant Obelisk to give him all colors except black, while I have nothing, as per turn four, whereas he makes Rhox War Monk.  on my turn five I decide to play Etherium Abom rather than my freshly drawn Slave of Bolas on his guy, hoping to trade, but he has Ambush Beetle to trade for my guy instead.  on my turn I unearth my guy, and play Alchemist to bounce his War Monk.  he then plays Bull Ceredon to hit me down to 12, not nice.  I use Slave next on his Bull, and put him on 12 also, but he just untaps and puts me to 7.  I've since drawn Sphinx and Agony Warp but I still only have 6 mana.  I play the Corpse guy, putting Brackwater Elemental in the bin, and hope he has no removal or pump so I can trade with the Bull.  he doesn't, and the guys trade, after which he has the Rhox War Monk and an Ember Weaver, powered up off a borderpost.   on my turn I draw the land I need to play Sphinx and deliberate.  I'm still not sure what the correct play is here, but I cast Deny Reality on his Rhox guy, cascading in to Mechanist who gets me an Esper Blade.  I kill his Ember Weaver with Agony Warp and pass (I could have played the Esper Blade but it was no good against his first striker, and if I let him hit me once I was dead to Exploding Borders).  on his turn he has Deadshot Minotaur to kill Mechanist, and then he replayed the Rhox Warmonk.  I then play Sphinx and go to 10, but he has O Ring for it and drops me to 4 with his guys.  I draw plains and play out a Blade and my Couldheath Drake, and it's looking bad.  he still doesn't have any removal or pump though, so I double block the Warmonk, loosing my Drake, and dropping to 1.  I draw Transmuter, and play it and my other Esper Blade I drew a couple turns back.  no attacks from me.  I double block his Minotaur and loose a Blade and then he has Rhox Brute. on my turn we both have one card in hand, with mine being a Puppet Conjurer.  I play it, unearth Brackwater Elemental, and swing with it and the Blade, putting him on 11.  he doesn't attack as there is no point, and on my next turn I draw Crystallisation for his Brute, unearth Corpse Conn and attack him down to 5 leaving just my Puppet guy on defense.  he has end of turn Sylvan Bounty to go to 12, but all he can add to the board is Macta Rioters while I draw Sanctum Gargoyle to return Esper Blade.  he doesn't draw burn on his next turn, so I'm able to unearth Fatestitcher (put in bin when I unearthed Corpse Conn) to tap his blocker and swing for lethal.  whew.

Game three his first play is a hardcast Firewild Borderpost on turn three, while all I do before turn three is play a capsule (my opening hand was Sanctum Gargoyle, Ex Capsule, Mechanist, islands and swamps and I drew Slave of Bolas).  he has just red and green mana and has no play on turn four despite having 5 mana in total.  I make Fatestitcher on my turn four, while he finds a plains with Pale Recluse.  He has Bull Ceredon on turn 6, which I cop before making it a slave and hitting him with it on my turn.  I use Fatesticher to tap down his plains in his upkeep, but he has Thornling and mana to protect it from my Capsule.  I have since drawn Crystallization and Corpse Conn, but I still have no white, so I play the Mechanist revealing Etherium Abomination.  I tap his Thornling pre-combat, after which he plays Rhox Mediant and draws a card.  I then draw Fleshbag Marauders so I kill his Rhox Mediant with the capsule and then make him sac his mythic rare post combat (so I could hit him with Mechanist and then sac it, thinking of his Deadshot Minotaur).  his next play is Rhox War Monk, which I tap down with Fatesticther. I go on to draw borderpost so I have white, and it's pretty easy from there with Corpse Conn, Etherium, Sanctum Gargoyle and Crystallization in hand.  3-0.

btw - I haven't actually won the last three drafts in a row, I lost two yesterday but was too lazy to post as I was working as well the whole time I was drafting.  plus they weren't very good or very interesting.
