    can i just say? maybe i haven't 'been in college long enough' but i really am not into the whole going-out-on-thursday-night thing.  lame maybe, but efficient! im done with like 1/4 of the work i have due for monday already. this is such a huge weekend too, tomorrow night we're going into the city, saturdays the big kickoff home football game

Oh jeez you didn't even read his first essay. It brought me to tears, too.
He's getting more optimistic I think, but at the same time he really really hates it.
But I think I get to see him in October?
