I can come have a look if you like, and bring you a copy of ms word / office if you need. you have killed all your email and info those, thats the thing about redtore disks, it overwrites a lot usually, but as I said, i will come have a look.
If you've used the System Restore disks, there might not be much that can be done, as they are notorious for killing data - I would have advised against using them unless absolutely necessary, as there are usually other ways to fix problems.
Thanks to both of you. Let me know if/when you are free to come around and have a look although it seems as though my entire system has reverted back to its former state:(
it's possible it's lost. restore discs tend to delete everything that's there and create a completely new copy of the whole drive from a backup. they should have presented you with 50,000 warnings before doing this though - do you recall such?
if you're using full Outlook (not Express) then do a search for files ending in PST (search for *.pst) - it'll show all the ones that exist on your system. If, for whatever reason, the Restore didn't kill your data then they'll show up here - likely in the C:\Documents and Settings\judi\Application Data folder.
good luck. i'll be heading through Paddington in about 1 hour if you want help.
