First of all, this Jenny-talks-to-River thing is the best idea ever. I am absolutely loving it.

Secondly, this is just freaking brilliant. The little things about church that always bugged me, especially as a child, are brought to light. I love Jenny's irritation with River's patronizing too. She learned what that was from Dad.

Once again, you make me love a character I might not've. <3<3

Thank you! I'm glad you liked it. The story was originally going to be much different, until I found that quote about the brightly flowing river, and decided to make it a conversation between the two of them.

I had a lot of fun writing about the church, actually. It's a bit of a wink-and-a-nod at the end of series three, but I like to keep things subtle.
