I wouldn't be ashamed of our surroundings. You gotta take advantage of and be thankful for everything you have. But we got to do something about that other half, and it sounds like your "soon to be foreign" brother is about to?

we'll see, i guess. he'll make his mark by conserving gasoline and hiring the other half to do his laundry. i'm not trying to make that sound mean; that's really what the students over there do. i'm kinda tempted to move over there and do peoples' laundry. though i suck at stain-removal.
