But I sure wouldn't be like all gross and kissy face and blushing like Tom Cruise is. That's just freaky. I would appear, take pictures and hang out.

Nope. And not for reasons of integrity - I'm a practical person. It's just that I could never pull it off. I'm not a very affectionate person even with people I genuinely love, so it would be doubly hard to do it with someone I didn't.
do you think the experience would change you?
I think it might make me feel more jaded about the things I see. But I don't know that it would change me, if I did it. The whole experience of being a celebrity would probably make me more wary of people in general, but I don't think I could develop a whole public persona that differs from who I am in private.
