Oh, this is awesome, love it! There's a wonderful interplay between light and darkness. I love how it seems really happy and sweet, but the undercurrent of ominous darkness is threaded through even then by the use of names. I love the characterisations, Keira has such a strong impact, especially with that last line.
Particularly interesting to me was that you have all these people with special powers but no internet, or antiseptic? Makes me very curious about how the world works.
