Oh, this is awesome, love it! There's a wonderful interplay between light and darkness. I love how it seems really happy and sweet, but the undercurrent of ominous darkness is threaded through even then by the use of names. I love the characterisations, Keira has such a strong impact, especially with that last line.

Thank you! I'm glad you liked Keira, she's new but will probably be making more than one appearance in the Idol (provided I get through, of course).

There's a lot more darkness to this world than I had originally budgeted for, but hey. Let's roll with it.

Interesting dystopia. Also Sims mention! :)

Particularly interesting to me was that you have all these people with special powers but no internet, or antiseptic? Makes me very curious about how the world works.

Thank you! This world is a bit odd, but I'm enjoying building it.
I never said they don't have antiseptic or Internet - they just have no unsupervised/unauthorised use of it. ;)

I like the way you use Keira's power to show the mental states of the other characters. Very creative!

This is quite an interesting world you've made here.

Thank you! Considering the world was improvised, I am having a lot of fun with it now the that I can't change the story... Typical.

I really love the world-building in this-it's subtle and well-handled. :)
