Picking a guide

Oct 02, 2008 23:41

One is an expert with exact knowledge obtained from a life of studying the issues.
The other is filled with generalities, and knowledge gained from conversations with friends.
Which one do you want guiding you?

If we are talking about hunting moose, I know which one I'd pick.

I don't want a Denny's waitress as my VP. No. Do. Not. Want. "Folksy" makes me want to punch infants.

She claims to be an energy expert, if that is any help.
Of course I've never heard a single detail come out of her mouth that was not on oil and natural gas coming from Alaska, so maybe she means an energy expert who specializes in oil and natural gas coming from Alaska. You know, like a doctor who specializes in Labiaplasty.

And she knows her way around a Rooty-Tutti Fresh and Fruity.
But I am not sure she could handle the pace at Waffle House.
