So I had misplaced a library book, and we needed to organize anyway, so we're putting our books in Delicious Library today.

It reads the book title to you so you can confirm... I scanned Deathly Hallows.. it reads the title.. and then about a minute later it eerily whispered "Voldemort"

EEEeee!

Yep! We got through a majority of our books in the time it took "Ninth Gate" to play on the other laptop.

We're still left with a big pile of old books that don't have ISBNs, but some have Library of Congress numbers so I have to look into that sometime, to see if perhaps they were assigned ISBNs later. I know a research librarian, so hopefully she'll be able to help :)

Yup, anything with Harry Potter in the name makes it whisper "Voldemort." Anything with "Star Wars" in the title makes it say "I am your father."

I totally love this program, I have everything I own in it. It's a godsend for remembering what things I loan out to people...

Yeah.. its a MAC program ;) You can scan in (using the built in camera or a barcode reader) the barcode from your cds, dvds, games, and books and keep them organized and whatnot. And like hamu mentioned, its a great way to keep track of who borrowed what.

In our case, we realized we'd bought duplicates of books :( I'm going to export a txt file of all the books and put it on my ipod. Or something. It will also export to things like Shelfari and LibraryThing
